Why this event is on the calendar
AWS Summit San Francisco 2026 was a one-day, free-registration AWS gathering at Moscone Center on May 5. It belongs in the historical robotics and automation archive because cloud, data, AI services, and infrastructure are part of many deployed robotics stacks; it was not a dedicated robotics conference. The event's value was in the AWS ecosystem: platform announcements, technical education, partner conversations, and examples of customer implementation.
For an attendee, the practical question was not whether to see robots on a show floor, but which cloud, AI, data, security, and developer workflows could support a product or operation. AWS's public Summit materials are retained as the appropriate record. This page does not project a 2027 San Francisco Summit, its agenda, or its venue from the completed 2026 event.
Who gets value from it
Cloud and platform engineers, AI and data teams, robotics software leaders, security teams, AWS customers, partners, and technical decision-makers.
How the day tends to work
A Summit day is built around technical sessions, customer and partner conversations, demos, and platform learning. It is most useful when attendees arrive with concrete infrastructure, data, or production-AI questions.
